A Coroner To Determine What Caused The Death Of Frank Mugala

A CORONER will next week Tuesday pass a verdict to determine what caused the death of 13-year-old Frank Mugala.
Frank was allegedly shot dead by police in February last year in Lusaka. Lusaka Magistrate Sanford Ngobola, sitting as a coroner, has been hearing an inquest into the death of Frank, a Chazanga Primary School Grade Eight pupil of Chazanga Township.
At the last sitting, Adam Mucheleng’anga, a physician who undertook an autopsy on Frank, told the coroner that the juvenile’s death was a homicide after a gunshot whose bullet hit an intermediate object.
The matter was scheduled for passing of a verdict today but it has since been adjourned to Tuesday next week.
