National Democratic Congress (NDC) president Chishimba Kambwili’s daughter Chanda has finally been released from Kabwata police station after paying an admission of guilt fine.

This followed intervention from first lady Esther Lungu and Vice-President Inonge Wina after Chanda’s mother pleaded that her daughter is released.

Chanda, who was initially charged with assault, had her charge reduced to conduct likely to cause breach peace, hence paying the fine.

Her mother, Carol Kambwili, and other family members were at the police station when Chanda was released.
