DAY OLD BABY D*MPED IN P!T L@TRINE
Police in Solwezi district have picked up a day old baby boy after being d*mped by an unknown person in a p!t l@trine.
The day old baby was discovered 10 metres away from a house by Joseph Mulemba, a 46 year old peasant farmer of Masalombi village.
The development is believed to have occurred on 2nd October 2022 between 04:00hrs and 05:00hrs at Kimasala Compound, near Kimasala Clinic.
North Western Province Police Deputy Commanding Officer, Robison Moonga said police visited the scene and managed to retrieve the baby from the latrine with help from community members.
Mr. Moonga narrated that officers then rushed the baby to Solwezi General Hospital where he has been admitted and is in stable condition.
An inquiry file has since been opened and Investigations into the matter instituted.
