Deposed Miss Earth Zambia sues for K300,000

MODEL Chileshe Wakumelo, who was deposed as Miss Earth Zambia last month, has asked the High Court to order the franchise orders of the pageant in Zambia to pay her over K300,000 she claims to have spent to prepare for the global competition in the Philippines.

Ms Wakumelo, who was replaced by Joyce Mwansa as Zambia’s representative, has cited Katrina Kabaso, Abigail Chama and Ethel Chama as defendants, having acted as recruiters for the Miss Earth Zambia pageant.
