DNA settles baby swap case
The Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) tests conducted on the two infants who were exchanged at Ndola Teaching Hospital have revealed that they were indeed swapped.
Two weeks ago, two mothers were left in shock after they discovered that their newly born babies were swapped at the hospital shortly after giving birth.
This was after a complaint was made by Danny Kiprios, 35, saying his son weighed 4.4 kilogrammes at birth but was swapped with another baby that weighed 3.5 kilogrammes by unknown people.
