KAZUNGULA BRIDGE 98 PERCENT COMPLETE

The Kazungula Bridge Project has reached 98 percent completion and is soon expected to be handed over to the governments of Zambia and Botswana.

Speaking when he toured the site, Zambia’s High Commissioner to Botswana Mwansa Kapeya says the hallmark facility will ease trade by reducing time in transit across the borders.

Mr. Kapeya adds that the bridge will increase trade volumes by expanding access for most land-linked SADC member states.

He says consultations are underway to establish the Kazungula Bridge Management Authority.
