A WOMAN yesterday burst into tears after she was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for her role in causing the death of a man suspected of being among a clandestine group detonating gas in people’s homes.

Rachel Mpundu and Dominic Musonda have been convicted and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for the murder of Sonny Kunda.

Evidence on record states that Mr Kunda was forced out of police cells by the mob and set ablaze, leaving him with second-degree burns and blunt-force head injuries.

Mpundu was pointed out by witnesses of having been part of the mob which killed Mr Kunda.
