MEDIA personality Mutale Mwanza in collaboration with Hungry Lion have donated some food stuffs and face masks to Vision of Hope girls Orphanage in Chamba Valley.

And Mwanza has pledged to take educational responsibility for a three year old boy at the same Orphanage.

She said the donation is a collaboration support towards the fight against COVID-19 dubbed “The Zambian Pride. “

“I am passionate about the girl child and I am passionate about girl education and these are young girls who have been through so much. I came here to donate and it’s been quite fulfilling. Give to the next person that doesn’t have. You might just save a life,” Mwanza said.

And Hungry Lion Zambia Regional Manager Mwinji Mkandawire said the same kind of gesture is being extended to many other communities.

Meanwhile, Vision of Hope Founder and Director Chitalu Chishimba thanked Mwanza and Hungry Lion for the gesture.

“Today, we are so blessed and excited to have Mutale Mwanza and Mwinji from Hungry Lion who donated packets of chicken and chips. We are so excited to have the team on board. In the midst of the COVID-19, Mutale has walked out of the circles and reached out to the vulnerable,” Chishimba said.

” Mutale today has adopted little Jeremia to help with Education support. This is a young man who is three years old with no hopes and no plans but through God’s grace, Mutale has decided to just take Jeremia to school and take up that responsibility. In the midst of COVID-19, there is always a blessing for someone.”
