MY BOYFRIEND DOESN’T SUPPORT HIS BABY

Good morning Zambia stories.

I have a problem with my boyfriend. He has a baby with another woman and he dumped her after she fell pregnant. The child is now 3 years old. He started dating me two years ago.
The problem is he doesn’t support the child, every time the baby mama calls asking him to send money for the child, he says he’s broke. I know he has enough money to take care of the child. He doesn’t do anything for the child but he spends on me. Sometimes i take it upon myself to send the baby mama money.
Every time he gives me money, I send half of it to the baby mama without him knowing. I always tell the baby mama that my boyfriend asked me to be giving her the money on his behalf.

He found out about this and he got very upset, he told me to stay away from it. He said it was non of my business. I asked him why he doesn’t fulfill his responsibilities and he said he will when he’s ready. I don’t know what he meant by this.
I’m getting really concerned because what if I fall pregnant? Will he treat me the way he’s treating his baby mama? Is there any way I can make him understand just how important it is for him to take care of his child?
