I’ve been married to my husband for five years and we haven’t been able to have a child. Three years ago, I decided to take my 16 year old sister so that me and my husband can take care of her and pay for her education. My young sister has a body of a grown woman and I’ve always encouraged her to dress appropriately especially when my husband is around.

My husband has always treated her like his own sister and never in my wildest dreams did I think he could ever look at her in a way that isn’t appropriate. A couple of months ago, my young sister started acting strange, she started acting like we were the same, she started disrespecting me and she one time insulted me. I wanted to take her back home but my husband defended her and told me it wasn’t a big deal. So I let her stay. But her behavior didn’t change, infact it got worse every day.
A week ago, I came home only to find her wearing a very short dress, and my husband was around. I reprimanded her and the girl had the nerve to call me jealous of her body. I immediately grabbed her and pushed her outside and told her I was driving her back home only for her to tell me that she’s three months pregnant and my husband is responsible. for a moment there, I couldn’t breathe properly, I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I asked my husband about it he admitted that he was responsible and he said my young sister enticed him. He also asked me not to involve our parents because he was happy that he would have a child and if I involve our elders, this won’t end well. I asked my sister how long this had been going on for and she told me two years. Mwebantu, I don’t know how to fix this mess, should I involve our elders? I feel so ashamed of the embarrassment that is about to befall me.
