New Dawn Government On Course To Deliver Promises: Kasanda

Minister of Information and Media, Chushi Kasanda says the government is on course to deliver on improving the livelihood of Zambians as promised.
Kasanda cites Tuesday’s publication of the 30-thousand teacher recruitment advert as another unsurpassed milestone in the history of the country.
She has urged community radio stations countrywide to support government through providing accurate information on the recruitment to ensure no eligible trained teacher is left behind.
Kasanda has urged education authorities to utilize the media to disseminate information in an effort to reach far lying, hard to reach places of the country.
Tuesday’s advert becomes the second recruitment exercise to employ over 40-thousand civil servants, including health workers and teachers within four months of implementing the new government’s budget.
However, the new government is struggling to address the cost of living for most residents with President Hakainde Hichilema recently admitting there is still more work to be done in the area.
The struggle has been heightened in part due to the constant increase in fuel pump prices, which authorities largely attribute to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine in Europe.
