The Patriotic Front has launched its first virtual rally ahead of the August 12, 2021 general election.

The use of technology to communicate the party’s message to the electorates has been necessitated by the ban on political gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thousands of Zambians have watched the virtual rally, which was carried live on Diamond TV and other TV and radio stations across the country.

Among the speakers were former UPND vice presidents Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba and Dr. Canisius Banda who urged the electorate to vote for the PF for continuity of economic policies.

Others included party Secretary General Davies Mwila, former NDC president Dr. Chishimba Kambwili and Lusaka mayoral aspiring candidate Chilando Chitangala.

Zambia has 24 days the general elections.
