Police To Hunt For People Who Burnt UPND Regalia

The Police have instituted investigations into a video that has gone viral on social media, showing people burning political regalia for the United Party for National Development.
Police spokesperson Esther Katongo says preliminary investigations have revealed that the materials being burnt were grabbed from a woman who was going to deliver to clients.

Police say every political party is free to own party material for purposes of campaigns and should not be harassed by any person or grouping with a contrary views.
She adds that it is criminal to tamper with, alter, damage or deface any campaign material for another political party and those found wanting will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
Investigations have since continued.
