Today, Monday 3rd August 2020, President Edger Lungu commissioned the Maken flyover bridge on Kafue Road.
This project commenced on 1st June 2018 for a duration 36 months. It is co – financed by Zambian and Indian Governments.
The project involves 91.4 km of road rehabilitation, widening and construction. Of this, 29.3km is dedicated to bus lanes.
The Kafue flyover bridge is part of the four (04) flyover bridges to be constructed, others being Munali roundabout, Longacres roundabout and Arcades junction. This is the first flyover Bridge to be completed.
