President Hakainde Hichilema Swear In 16 Permanent Secretaries

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema, has with immediate effect, appointed and named Permanent Secretaries for line ministries and provinces, State House Special Assistant for Policy Compliance, Special Assistant for Legal, as well as an Economic Advisor.

According to a press statement issued by the Presidential Spokesperson Anthony Bwalya the Permanent Secretaries and other officials appointed bring a wealth and mix of loyalty to the service of country and its people, technical expertise, as well as a sheer determination to serve as agents of the people’s desire for the kind of change that must deliver real democratic dividends for all our citizens.

Mr Bwalya said the President is confident that all the Permanent Secretaries and other officials appointed will serve diligently and for the collective good of the people of Zambia.

President Hichilema has since applauded the services of all the outgoing Permanent Secretaries and other officers and has wished all the newly appointed officers God’s blessings in the discharge of their new roles.

Some of those appointed include, Mrs. Margret Miyoba Bwanga Public Service Management Division, Mr Ndiwa Mutelo Office of the Vice President (Parliamentary Business Division) Mr. Chembo Mbula Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Administration Mrs. Isabelle M. Lemba Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (IRC) Mr. Josephs Akafumba Home Affairs and Internal Security (Administration) , Mr. Dickson Matembo Home Affairs and Internal Security and Mr. Bwalya Wisdom, Local Government and Rural Development among others.

And Mr Bwalya said the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) has with immediate effect dissolved the Board of Directors of the Zambia Daily Mail and Times Printpak Limited.
