Today we witnessed a moment that we all must be proud of, when I commissioned the new Terminal at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport.

The commissioning of this masterpiece today comes barely a week after I commissioned the new Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola on the Copperbelt is all remarkable.
We have travelled the world and admired airports and wished they were in our country and today, the Patriotic Front government turned our wishes into reality.
The new terminal we unveiled today is a marvel of international standards and is in tandem with our vision to turn our country into an air transport hub in the region.
It also represents our legacy – as a leadership that has transformed Zambia through infrastructure development. This is why we seek mandate to remain in office, because we have done more than what many expected us to do.
You, the Zambian people must be proud of what we have achieved in such a short space of time.
You must be proud of being Zambian, with such infrastructure at your service. You are part of this great story.
This investment will benefit us, and will have to measure up to the legacy of the great man in whose honour this airport was named.
Together we have transformed our dreams and visions into reality. Let us continue on this path. Let us dare to dream and be bold enough to pursue our dreams.
Together we shall.
