President Lungu Congratulates Cecilia Zimba On Her New Appointment

President Edgar Lungu has congratulated chartered accountant Ms Cecilia Zimba for being elected first female president of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

He writes:

Congratulations to the newly elected president of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants Ms. Cecilia Zimba.

Ms. Zimba is a finance and governance consultant; she is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accounts – ACCA and holds a Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School of Herriot Watt University.

She has also attended executive education at Massachusetts Institute of Technology – MIT.Additionally, Ms. Zimba serves on keyboards such as The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) and Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB).

Prior to her recent election as ZICA President, she served as ZICA Vice president since 2017.I am always proud to see our women making history as Ms. Zimba !!
