SESHEKE UPND Member of Parliament Romeo Kang’ombe has been granted bail on his own recognizance with two working surities in the like sum of K200,000.
This is in a matter where Kang’ombe has been charged with two counts of abduction and two accounts of Assault on a police officer.
When a matter came up before Hon. Chilingala, Kang’ombe pleaded not guilty to all the counts.“Matter has been adjourned to 11/11/2020 for mention and 25/11/2020 for commencement of trial.
Bail has been granted on his own recognizance with Two(2) working surities of Chinsali in the like sum of K 200,000,”
Acting Police Spokesperson Danny Mwale said in a statement.Kang’ombe was represented by Muleza Law firm with Conilius Mwetwa MP as his lawyer.
