Six Arrested In Illegal Land Demarcation And Allocation On Kafue Road

Police in Lusaka have arrested six people in connection with the illegal demarcation and allocation of land in Lusaka.
The piece of land is next to the Universal Church on Kafue road.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said the suspects were arrested around 10:00 hours Wednesday morning.
“The suspects were arrested today at about 10:00 hours after police received information on the illegal act. Those arrested have been identified as Maines Phiri, 34 of Kamwala South, Ruth Chingangauka 47 of Kawata, Mary Chilembo 22 of Misisi compound, David Masauso Jere 39 of Kamwala south and Bernard Sibakele 42 of Chawama compound in Lusaka.They are all detained in police custody for criminal trespass,” said Katongo.
She has warned all those engaging themselves in criminal activities to desist or face arrest.
