UPND To Remove Perceived PF Members From Government Ministries

Vice President Mutale Nalumango says government will at the right time relieve perceived Patriotic Front –PF- supporters from various government ministries and parastatal bodies.

Speaking during the Vice President’s question time in parliament today, Mrs. Nalumango says government has been slow to act on this matter because it is respecting the law and wants to allow contracts for such individuals to expire.

Mrs. Nalumango says government is aware of the concerns by the general public on the continued stay in office by some former ruling party sympathizers who she says may be sabotaging the works of the current government.

She says while some people may be qualified to hold their current positions, the fact that the PF’s manifesto states that its supporters will hold government positions removes the confidence that people may have in such office bearers.
