UPND’s Presidential Aid Mubita Nawa Arrested

Police in Lusaka have arrested UPND President Hakainde Hichilema’s Presidential aide, Mubita Nawa for the offence of Defamation of the President.

Zambia Police Deputy Public Relations officer, Danny Mwale says this is in connection with a video which was recently posted on social media.He says Nawa is currently detained in Police custody.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mwale says Economic and Equity Party leader, Chilufya Tayali is still in Police custody awaiting court appearance.
